1. Delivery

1.1. Delivery Methods

We are able to deliver to customers all over the world. When you order, we will ask you to enter the contact details of the location where you wish to have your package delivered. Please note that we will not be able to change the delivery address of an order once it has been confirmed.

We offer two delivery methods that can be selected when you checkout to receive the products purchased on our site, so that you can choose the one that best meets your expectations.

1.1.a) Standard Delivery

The initial shipping cost for each order placed on our site is €4.90. However, we offer delivery for all orders of €30 or more.

This delivery is selected by default when you place your order on our site.

1.1.b) Secure Delivery Loss/Breakage/Theft

In order to guarantee you greater peace of mind and to deal with any incident beyond our control that may occur during the transport of your package, we offer you an option of Secure Delivery at €6.90 .

While ordinarily we are not held responsible for incidents that occur while your package is in the hands of the delivery company, when you select this option when ordering this insurance comes into effect if it turns out that your Parcel disappears, is lost, or broken during transport.

It is then up to you to contact our customer service, in order to report any problem with your package: damaged product due to a lack of seriousness on the part of the delivery company, lost package, or not having arrived at its destination within 30 days worked from shipping confirmation.

Subject to verification on our part to ensure that the package never actually arrived at its destination and has indeed permanently disappeared from the delivery circuit for an unexplained reason, we will send you a new package identical to the previous one and entirely at our expense.

We put this guarantee in place in order to make your purchasing experience as pleasant and stress-free as possible. However, in the event of proven abuse or attempted fraud on your part regarding this insurance, we reserve the right to take legal action against you.

1.2. Overseas France (DOM-TOM)

Due to the more complex logistics chain, if you have your package delivered to one of the following departments, an additional charge of €9.90 must apply during checkout.

Guadeloupe, Guyana, Reunion, Martinique, Mayotte, New Caledonia, Saint-Barthélemy, Saint-Pierre-et-Miquelon, Saint-Martin, Wallis-et-Futuna, French Polynesia.

1.3. Shipping and delivery times

By purchasing on our site, you are choosing quality.

We work in collaboration with Chinese and English suppliers and artisans. Our Chinese hub ships our packages from Hong Kong or Shenzhen. Our English hub ships its packages from London or Nottingham.

We do not want to sacrifice the quality of our merchandise on the altar of express delivery. At La Maison du Porte-Clé® we have chosen to offer unique items of impeccable quality, while being aware that this inevitably extends delivery times. But we think that you, dear customer, are ready to wait a little longer than usual to receive your package, if this is a guarantee of quality and uniqueness. Indeed, all our items are made on request and in an artisanal manner to ensure you an authentic product that you will not find anywhere else.

For this reason, our manufacturing and shipping times may vary greatly depending on the nature of the product(s) ordered. Your order will generally be shipped within 3 to 5 working days (Metropolitan France). A confirmation email will be sent to you when your package is shipped.

Taking into account manufacturing, shipping and delivery times, you will receive your package within 10 to 25 working days, from the date of confirmation of processing of your order. You will be notified of this by email. Exceptional events beyond our control may, however, extend this period (transporter strikes, major bad weather, etc.).

Rest assured that we do everything we can to deliver your package within the above-mentioned deadlines, but we cannot fully guarantee their accuracy given that the freight of the goods is taken care of by third-party companies.

1.4. Parcel tracking

To make it easier for you to track your delivery, you can consult it directly on our site via the "Parcel tracking" link located at the bottom of the page. All you need to do is enter your order number and the email address you ordered with.

2. Returns

In accordance with current legislation, you have 14 days to return your product to us if it does not suit you, according to the terms indicated in the instructions. General Conditions of Sale (Articles 8 and 9).

To make a return request, please access the “Contact” section of our site. You will be asked for your first and last name and your order number.

It is your responsibility to return the merchandise to us unworn, never washed and still bearing all its labels and its polybag. Return shipping costs are your responsibility. It is important that the item does not arrive in poor condition. Once received, if everything is correct, we will refund the item or exchange it.
